Phyllis honsinger, Senior Warden

A member of St. Mark the Evangelist Church since birth, Phyllis is a devoted and active parishioner who sincerely believes that this parish can be a beacon of light on the west side of Syracuse. She has been a member of the Vestry for five years along with being an integral part of the worship team, serving as altar assistant and acolyte. Other ministries she enjoys being part of include worship ministry, prayer shawl, Circle V, Mustangs and coffee hours. She also is a volunteer with the monthly Food $en$e program at St. Mark.

Gary W. Neddo, junior Warden

A member of the parish since the summer of 1995, Gary has been active on the vestry many times, both as a vestry member and a warden. In addition to serving on the vestry, he is active in many of our parish’s ministries, including but not limited to being one of three Licensed Worship Leaders. He is also a Licensed Lay Preacher in the Diocese.   

The vestry at St. Mark

A board called the vestry governs our church. The congregation elects its members to three-year terms. Vestry members work on organization and planning and manage resources and finances.
